Kim Min-suk was born in Busan in 1948. She has published more than ten volumes of fiction. Among her notable works is the novel Nae ireum-eun Maya (My Name Is Maya, 1977). This work is a compelling example of what might be called the "sins of the fathers" theme in contemporary Korean fiction. |
